Braddy, without belaboring the point let's just say the Persantine is a V E R Y W E A K drug that doesn't get anybody excited about anything whether the heart, side effects etc. It is like weak tea. IT DOES NOT represent the powerfull side effects of the other 95% of PDEs. Clinically Persantine has got to be used in less than a 5 : 100 ratio compared to the rest of PDEs. Don't pledge an allegiance to ANY drug, until it's out in the NEJM, has been out 1-2 years: my advice to all.( only exception is if you have a life threatening situation and there are no other similarly safe and effective alternatives.).
