Hi G, Re: RAVI ETF for surplus cash................................

As the name implies (Ready Access Variable Income), they attempt to keep the NAV relatively stable and
let the effective yield shift as interest rates shuffle about. While this 5 year history seems to show a lot of
variance among RAVI, JPST and SHY, the Y-axis shows very little difference over time. I don't know if
StockCharts graphs NAV or adjusted value based upon dividends distributed. I think it's NAV but don't know for certain.
Current yields are RAVI = 2.53% (red line), JPST = 2.03% (green line) and SHY = 2.10% (blue line).

Hope this helps. I keep "surplus cash" (the amount above what I deem needed for 30 to 60 days of buy
trades) in RAVI currently and have been pleased to see some actual accumulation of yield in my monthly
statements compared to brokerage MMFs.
