Absolutely. They are feeding at the trough. So you are correct in saying it is not about learning. They know damned well what they are doing. As for the politics of it, maybe it's Republican influence, but I remember Hillary was the one who got the majority of Wall Street donations. So this never ending Neo-Keynsian interest rate suppression and QE policy is really a bi-partisan thing. They all want to spend endless money and enrich themselves on the endless money at the expense of ordinary Americans. This monetary policy is built for the 1% and to hell with the 99%. That's why I'm against it. It's unfair and it's predatory. Plus, it destroys capitalism, enables the rise of Socialism and Marxism, and it makes it very hard to invest on the merits of a company. Instead, you have to speculate on what the Fed will do. That's not capitalism.
