Nice post! I like your segmentation of the company's operations and where the growth is likely to come from.

One would think that the growth comes from front end manaagement and possibly the UPC services. It would appear that the "front end management" operations are moving along decently.

What can the company do to kick-start the UPC business? As you say--the ability to upload is not difficult--what is the incentive to make retailers want to pay for this service? Can the company leverage the allure of front-end management to sell UPC services? Can the UPC services be positioned as a way to milk more revenue out of the front end management operation (i.e. this projects to this kind of revenue bump and, if you add in our UPC services, an additional bump of...)?

Seems like immediate UPC data would allow immediate re-order of a particular title (let's say this week's Enquirer really DOES have a picture of an alien in it) and possibly other benefits.

I'd like to hear your thoughts and those of others who see opportunities for growing the high potential of UPC services into revenue and bottom line dollars.
