I just finished watching S03 of The Crown. The Queen is now middle aged so they needed a new face. Claire Foye is now too young. So they picked someone I've never heard of before. She looks all queenie with the hair and clothes style and the ever present purse. But.... the first time they show her head on I just burst out yelling " MISS PIGGY'S NOSE!!" And every time afterward it was all I could think. Now I could use a few improvements myself physically. I don't usually make fun of other peoples looks. We are what we are and some people spend big bucks fixing things they don't like about themselves. Hildabeasts latest makeover comes to mind. But really? This was the best actress they could find to portray an older queen? Did the Queen have a miss piggy's nose 50 years ago? I can't remember. She also has what I would call a " weak " chin. I think the Queen did have ( has ) that. If Claire Foye was a bit more glamorous than the real thing then the pendulum has swung too far the other way. Still a good series. We get to meet Chuck and his love Camilla. Next season I imagine we will meet Diana. I hope it won't be another " MISS PIGGY'S NOSE " moment.
