Will be interesting if real economy job losses, overbuilding and lax lending or rise in interest rates takes housing down end of this cycle? I imagine you think we are at some inflection point now like Jan 1990, Jan 2001 or Jan 2008??

What data are you looking at showing prices in Boston dropping? I wouldn't just look at MLS price drops. Could just mean overpriced listings with few if any takers IMHO. Or lower median prices with most of the action now in starter homes both new and existing remodels..

Here is one on the high end. Stunned to see it sell $1.8M which is 50% what it sold in 2015. Not sure how much they spent on the renovation but still probably a fraction of the appreciation..
