Dave, your post and several others comment that too much is made of the "sexual accusations". I would agree with you. The real issue is character and here we can try to differentiate between the personal Clinton and the Clinton who acts as our president. I certainly wouldn't trust Clinton with my daughter, on the other hand he has done a reasonably good job on the issues in general and the economy.

The real substantive issue is the the potential obstruction of justice- the same issue that drove Nixon from the White House. If this is in fact true, we don't need to concern ourselves with a "republican team" that "will sacrifice anything to destroy Clinton." I think Clinton will self-destruct at that point.

I agree with you that our concern should be the impact on foreign policy and economic issues- Iraq, IMF etc.

As was stated by another poster, this will be my only post on this topic.

On a different topic- I just want to express my appreciation to all contributors to this great thread. We had a snow storm here in New England yesterday and I had a great time catching up on my backlog on this forum. Thanks to all.

Regards

Tony
