I know there is inflation. The Fed is lying to everyone and to themselves, because if they dealt with true inflation, then they'd have to raise rates and Social Security would have to pay out more in benefits. Neither of those things are what the Fed and Treasury want, so they manipulate the inflation statistics to leave out the areas that are experiencing massive inflation like health care and education, which make up a huge portion of people's actual day to day living expenses. It's a joke. We have leaders who lie to themselves, which is one of the main reason they are ineffective.
