Not true. As you well know, there are a range of issues and priorities that the Exec Branch must deal with. If all you are voting for is one issue, then that makes you a pretty narrow minded person. I'm not a one issue person. I look at many issues and I analyze how I think the President will act on those issues, then I vote for the President that mostly lines up with my beliefs. Right now, that is Trump on most of the issues I care about. On the Middle East, he's far less of a war monger than Bush Jr and Obama, and 1000% less of a war monger than Hillary, while also being strong against our enemies when he has to be. I think he's walking the tightrope pretty well. But I'm a peacenik. So I'd love to see our troops come home from all over the world and for us to stop policing the world. But the reality is that will never happen and no President will make that happen. Bush Jr and Obama certainly didn't make that happen. Trump likely won't, and I seriously doubt any of the front running Democrats will make that happen. The ONLY candidate that had a non-zero percent chance of making that happen was Tulsi Gabbard, but the Democrats don't like her because she's not a war monger who is bought and paid for by the MIC, like every other candidate is.
