Cocaine or adderall - he's sniffing something:

Why was Trump sniffing so much, January 8, 2020?

Rosalind Garcia, former Health Educator - Retired 2015; USAF Veteran

Since the 1980s, there have been repeated allegations that Trump is a cocaine addict. Cocaine addicts display the following symptoms:

Behavioral: agitation, crying, excitability, irritability, restlessness, or self-harm. Reports are that Trump is chronically agitated, and irritable;

Psychological: delirium, depression, hallucination, paranoia, or severe anxiety.

—Trump’s multiple conspiracy theories that are not based in fact or reality, indicates that he IS paranoid.

Cognitive: disorientation, mental confusion, racing thoughts, or slowness in activity.

—No explanation required because Trump has displayed all these symptoms…chronically.

Mood: boredom, feeling detached from self, loss of interest or pleasure in activities, or nervousness.

—Trump does have a robotic response and especially when he is speaking to Americans. And he slowly reads the teleprompter as well but that could be because he rarely reads.

Sleep: insomnia, nightmares, sleepiness, or sleeping difficulty.

—There are multiple reports that Trump wanders the halls of the White House nightly, unable to sleep.

It is a medical fact that snorting cocaine causes chronic sniffing. And it is unlikely that Trump who has publicly declared numerous times that he is in “perfect health” has allergies.

Is it believable that Trump has a history of abusing Adderall (amphetamine) as several news outlets report?

Jon Mixon, I have used and use pharmaceuticals regularly.

Certainly.

Donald Trump is 73 years old, he's grossly overweight, he admittedly has a poor diet, and he doesn't exercise. How else would he be able to remain awake and somewhat alert considering the travel that he does without the assistance of some type of chemical stimulant?

Why does it matter?

He could conceivably have a stroke while using the drug

- One thing worse than Trump as POTUS is Trump trying to do the job after a serious medical problem. Since he would be unwilling to resign, and his cabinet is filled with lackeys and sycophants, things would be grim until he could be voted out office. His thinking would be altered or heavily impaired - Does anyone believe that being addicted to stimulants would make Donald Trump smarter? At best, it would keep him awake longer so that he could think more irrational thoughts. His addiction can lead to withdrawal symptoms and even worse behavior

- If Trump tries to wean himself off of the drug, or has to stop because of another medical condition, he runs the risk of his withdrawal causing even greater difficulties for him and the country.Addicts can be manipulated very easily

- Something as simple as hiding his medication, or asking him to do things around the time that he's “coming down", can be used by people who want him to do their bidding. Drug addicts aren't renowned for their strength of will.It can be used to blackmail him

- Trump cannot allow the fact that he may be addicted to anything to become public knowledge. Not only would his past decisions be reviewed under a microscope, he would also have to go rehab of some type as only his most ardent fans would believe that he “kicked his habit" on his own. The above means that the Russians, China and definitely anybody in his orbit who needs leverage can use his addiction and it's very likely that it would work.

Again, Donald Trump is clearly using something to keep himself awake and alert as a man his age and in his physical condition should be dozing off in meetings or simply too tired to perform most tasks. If Adderall addiction is the reason it certainly explains a number of things.
