I know it's hard to believe, but I think this is a case where almost no one knew what was going on. To know makes you an abetter. Since this was hyper-inside in material fact, those that knew and acted to gain by that information, can be traced. They would be liable to criminal prosecution. Those that make an inference based upon seeing product on shelves for example, and take action, are not acting on a material fact, and are not prosecutable for acting on illegal information. A company employee taking this action is not so clearly exempt.

I did tick volume analysis from 23 to the bottoming around 12-13. There was much good accumulation going on, and not much suspicious selling. The downside move was well correlated to the price action in many of the tech issues. I don't wish to imply that there couldn't have been secretive illegal information based trades, but it would have been very difficult to separate from the noise.

The Thursday afternoon trading from 3:30 EST is very suspicious. The SEC can and will investigate those that sold during this period.
