Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO) told reporters on Monday that the GOP caucus does not have 51 votes to dismiss the articles of impeachment.

That might be the better direction to take. If they dismiss, Pelosi, Schumer and the Dems scream "cover-up" and it might guarantee another impeachment in 2021. If they listen to the evidence, then decide not to call witnesses, they can confirm it was a one-sided sham, and the RINO's get the cover they desire.

As usual, it's all about them and re-election...not clearing President Trump.
