Funny that you ask this question.

One of the reasons why IOM missed their numbers was the OEM increase and how the consumers weren't buying as many disks as IOM would've liked. This is evidenced by the lower tie ratio.

This tells me that to the average consumer, 100 MB is still a lot of space. Which begs the question, why introduce a higher level drive if the present one still satisfys the current demand?

Unless you're a power user, the current Zip does the job. Having said this, where does this leave the HiFD?
