*** 1 STOCK - 1 WEEK *** WEEK 11 RESULTS
The market was down, but we were significantly up. This kind of week
makes it clear that we are truly in a stock picking market: not
everything is going strait up or strait down. As a group, this was
by far the best overall week yet. 16:4 up to down (11:2 long and
5:2 short)...the average person was up 3.80% even though the group
average stock price was up only 1.59%...we beat the market soundly.
Jermoney's VVUS kept on rising and held up under some fierce
compition from Wiseowl's PMCS. Virgil's CTXS short was the best total
point difference for the week - down 8 points. Jermoney also moved
from 17th to 6th overall, Dale from 10th to 7th, and Richard from 17th
to 11th....most of the others stayed about the same. Alan and I
remained at 1 and 2 respectively, but Virgil, Brian and Techinvest
are within striking range.
Overall a very good week for most everyone....Now, about next week..
Unfortunately, I am supposed to start trial again Monday morning...
If I do, as planned, I will not be around or available at all until
at least Wednessday and maybe Thursday. With the historical pricing
link, catching up isn't a big deal, but if ya'll want some kind of
update before I am able to do it, someone else will need to pick it up
for this week....
