Hi Country Bob,

I have relations in Boston, almost a carbon copy of what you describe.
Their Northeastern location is the problem.
The Chicago area is problematic as well.
As this thing all plays out over the next several years, stresses on the systems that support the viability of suburban living will be a lever "they'll" use. Those stresses will add cost to services that extend out from the cities to their suburbs.
There will be a lot of movement and a lot of changes.
Getting out of a city is good. Being able to stay out once the GSM starts taking down the food supply and other "amenities", takes more than just being out.
I hope your nephew and his family are aware of things.

I get the smell of flatulence out here all the time :-). Cattle yard a few miles down the road.
The locals here call that smell, "money".
