Thanks for your response.

After your comments it now seems to me that the most
likely scenario is that there was a large order placed
for 20000+ shares at market. There were not enough
sell orders to fill the request so the market maker
worked his/her way up the ladder.

If this is correct you would think it could have some
positve impact on Monday if some large block buy orders
come in.
