Dear Cacaito and David:

I am not sure whether pramlintide can be delivered that way but insulin definitely can not. The system they have can release the peptide at a constant rate, I believe. The amount of insulin must be adjusted according to the need. As for amylin, it also has a peak release after meal although in their trials AMLN has shown whether twice a day or four times a day injections didn't make much difference. In that sense, there is a chance pramlintide may be delievered by this ProLease someday. That will make life much easier.
