Agree with Mav. that Canadian node of di-pole has probably lost a lot of intensity in past 11 months. That would be consistent with my hypothesis - in several recent posts - for why winter in much of the lower 48 is milder than we've seen for decades.

Honestly, had not seen this particular video til now. Didn't know he's now thinking the Canadian node could dissipate in as little as 6 months!! Not the 5 yrs. I'd been using based on Mav's estimates form earlier in 2019. .
