Rare to see sentiment so extreme in any sector. Even cyclical industries with very large swings. After all that's what give them their huge Long Term profit potential if you wait for a confirmed bottom. Know I sound like a broken record, but when trading you have to use protective mental stops. Know you got out with a scalp so am referring to those who haven't.

In every down cycle, since the 19th Century, lots of oil & gas E&Ps AWA service and equipment mfg companies have gone bankrupt. Many more will suffer that fate in this, particularly nasty down cycle last years volume numbers already confirm unusually large Fund portfolio blowouts. Problem is? Without the proverbial crystal ball we don't know which publicly traded stock will BK and priced at zero.

In the past 10 to 15 yrs, mgt. teams - in all market sectors - became increasing aggressive about hiding their liabilities until after the stock has blown out on the downside. Again, that supports the very conservative investment or trading comments I've made and followed in my own investments for years. This isn't the same market in which our parents made their money thought many are yet to get the message.

All the best and don't get too pessimistic as the bottom gets closer....))
