>>Can we speculate if we bomb what will that mean for our stocks?<<

Too crass to even speculate about. Who cares. The real question is what it will mean to those who may be threatened, or even exposed to chemical and biological warfare. Intervention on that basis alone ought be the only consideration. Although our reaction as a country to Saddam will undoubtedly be looked at by some cynics as a way for Clinton to throw the scandal attention elsewhere, or for American Capitalists to get richer off a potential oil squeeze, why add fodder to those folks by focusing on how individuals might get wealthy by what can be considered only as an unfortunate event, especially for the troops directly involved, and the ordinary people of Iraq. Just my two cents. No personal vitreol intended, as I know a lot of folks areasking the same question. Just seems like the answers will be obvious speculation anyway, and some things are better left unsaid.
