Chris: Boy, do I miss your part of the world...if you like fish tacos, don't come to Florida.

The local Wal-Mart clerks tell me they've restocked Radica 3x since
Christmas. That info has to be part of what we collect...in vs what's on the pegs = out, and how often. Get enough of this accurately from enough of the nation and we could get a good estimate of sales per store, etc, etc.

What puzzles me is TOY stores still don't seem too terribly interested in the product. In the grocery biz, I gather mfgrs pay for rack space but don't know details. Is toy biz like that as well...??
Could that explain it.

Also, this week DIGL (Digital Lightwave) took a major hit (down 80%)when they announced shipments to "distributors" have been counted as sales, grossly distorting revenue. Big investor suits coming over that. Q: how does RADAF count shipments to US distributor? I suspect it's an internal transfer since RADAF is shipping to itself, but I don't know for sure. Gary, perhaps you can enlighten me on this one.

Again, any more takers on the retail survey idea.? Chaz. ced@gte.net.
