Sun..................and Meeka.............so sorry that this happened. Meeka is young and strong and will hopefully pull through this. TY for mentioning how the vet sewed her back up. Our son got the most beautiful and loving Yellow Lab puppy for his family for Christmas and will be taking her in to be spayed as soon as she's old enough I will tell him about your experience and warn him to ask the vet which way he/she will suture his puppy up after the procedure.

The vet had done a continuous stitching, i.e. one long thread looping over an under. Apparently this is a common practice, but it is not good practice and in newer schools they emphasize doing individual stitches.
