Excellent analysis. I think you hit the nail on the head. Profits are primarily from overseas and prominently from Asia --> a p/e haircut
while this weighs on peoples minds.

Do you have any opinion on either CCIR or ALRN? Both seem to offer good value at the current price. ALRN's release talks about new programs in Q4 and CCIR valuation looks low. In this kind of market,
my personal preference is companies selling at low p/e's where the chance of further shrinkage is low and the chance of expansion is high. (Should have asked this on ECM thread - perhaps respond there?)
