True. But here's the reality of our politics today. Most of those career politicians who have never been in the real workforce, like Biden, Hillary, Pelosi, etc, they become big time millionaires. How? They don't earn enough to become the filthy rich millionaires they become. They are on the take. They are corrupt. The newer politicians aren't yet criminals, but stay there long enough and they will become corrupt also. The lobbyists make sure of it.

So this thing of not investigating politicians just because they are running for something is just silly Democrats trying to protect their own. If it was ok to investigate Trump during his candidacy, then it's ok to investigate Biden during his as well.
