| | | So do Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, Hillary, AOC, Bernie, and all the rest. There is a saying that goes like this: "Every time a politician opens his/her mouth, a lie comes out." It is what it is. Trump on the other hand is a salesman and an optimist. He engages in quite a bit of puffery. Look up that word if you don't know what it means. All salesmen do it. When you go to buy a sports car and the salesman tells you that car is the best car created in history, are you one of those nerdy idiots that says, "Excuse me sir, but that is not technically correct. We need to analyze the parameters of what 'best' means and then make an objective analysis and ranking over every car ever made before we can determine which car is best in history." No, I bet you don't. I bet you do like everyone else in the world and just politely listen to the puffery, while simultaneously understanding that this is what all salesmen in history have done. They sell an idea to get you to buy. That is what Trump does. He's a salesman.
What makes Trump good, though, and why he's a winner, is that he truly does not give a shit what people like you think. Instead, he's picked a few key things that he knows many American people want and then he has moved Heaven and earth to make it happen. Build the wall. Check. America First. Check. Hold China accountable. Check. Focus on the US economy. Check. Focus on deregulation. Check. He's just going down his campaign promise list and accomplishing what we voted for him to accomplish. That is very unlike any politician I've seen in my lifetime. All the rest lie and do nothing. Trump has done exactly what he said he'd do. You don't have to like him, but he gets results. I think that is what pisses you and the Dems off the most. He's effective. |
