only an autocratic country ... not necessarily good for the people -- they delayed the response which resulted in 5 million people leaving the city -- how many of them in the USA is the question.

When the SARS expert from Hongkong visited Wuhan to investigate before the Chinese gov acknowledged the new virus, they shut him out, until after their own 'expert' (a Beijing U Med Prof) went and then declared there is no people to people transmission, who then himself went down with the virus. In an open country, it would have been properly responded earlier, perhaps before the 5 million people fled the region.

many countries now have crises in their own country with the people from Wuhan. If USA has a functioning government, we should separate these people and all people who came much in contact with them and observe them.

This is a true pandemic.

Countries are lowering their GDP expectation because of this virus by 0.25%
