wait a sec!!! 1) if the supply line is so overloaded, where will these supposed-superior companies sell their products? 2) are you sure, liz, that idt isn't diversified? are you sure, liz, that they don't make any/every product under the sun with regards to ic's? 3) do you really think that a company that holds 40+% of market share is a dwarf? 4) by what do you measure the reliability of these oh-so superior sram manufacturers in japan that will put these petty american companies out of business? perhaps idt should just throw in the towel and bow down to these far-superior competitors who own next to none of the marketshare. after all, why should idt or any other company try competing? maybe because THAT'S WHAT THE AMERICAN ECONOMY IS BASED ON?!?!?!?! sounds like a solid reason - i'll bet on america and the spirit of competition. you can have your gloom and despair give-up attitude.
