Did I miss a calling? Do a search of how the owners of PFN are... Am I one of them? I will never say! Now go forth and seek.

I am looking for information on the physics of coke creation as a result of Thermo-distillation of waste oil into diesel fuel.

1. What are the temperature ranges in which Coking occurs as a feedstock acquires residence time in heat exchanging environment?

2. Has anyone heard of using a distillation process for recycling waste oil products?

3. Is coking primarily the result of excessive process being applied to a limited surface contact area between the heat source and the feedstock?

4. Would increasing the area of surface exposure in a heat exchange system, thus requiring less process heat to achieve cracking temperature, result in less chance of coking?

Been looking at an interesting company out there that says their process accomplishes all of these things. Would appreciate your feedback.
