How can a China virus infection be differentiated from a seasonal flu infection?
Lab testing. They have good quick tests for flu. Testing for the new coronavirus will also be needed to distinguish it from other viruses. I suppose, cases of viral pneumonia would have to be treated as coronavirus - until proven otherwise. So far, no new confirmed cases in the US. Still at 5.
