Thanks VP, Your thoughts and asperations are generally the same as mine. Trying to fix a value come D day is a quandry to me.
I have often heard people mention the value of "gold in the ground" and have little or no idea of how to determine this. Speaking of this, does anyone know of a book or reference as to how one would calculate this figure. I'm sure it would vary from location to location. For the expected price, my simple method of # of Oz. X (POG-cost)/# of shares comes out at a figure which I'm sure is too high. I'm sure what I'm missing is the time element - the life of the mine and probably a few more items.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
