I believe even after 30 days of sub $1 bid, NASD has to notify
of noncompliance (which may not be done automatically), after
which notification the 90 day grace period begins. Then a lengthy
delisting process begins. A Co. may achieve compliance any time
during this by exceeding the $1 closing bid for 10 consecutive
days.
I guess a stock hovering right around the dollar mark could be
notified, come back into compliance, and back and forth a number
of times.
I think this is "fairly accurate", but the point is delisting
should'nt be a "surprise news flash" spawning panic.
Also MPRS has twice the market cap required for compliance anyway.
Gonna hold on to mine, $2 is cheap for MPRS.
Best regards,
Bret P
