Good point!
What I think unseen1 is implying is that with the two-term limit, the will of the voter is the ultimate impeachment of a president (who would be king) with the exception of treason or felonies (high crimes). Before this debacle, it was months to investigate, months to impeach, months for a Senate trial and conviction - essentially half or more of a term in office. Why not wait for the voters to decide for anything less than a high crime?
