Thank you, dear Chrissy, my halo is now quite intact.
In her book, Gennifer talked about her womanizing father and how much she loved him. She even remarked that in some ways Bill resembled her father. The devil may care twinkle in his eye that all the women tripped over themself for.
Apparently, they had a falling out after her mother divorced him and he was killed in a plane crash before they could reconciled.
I believe her and Clinton had a very strong attaction, maybe they even loved. But his political career was much more important. She became pregnant, when she told him about the baby, she said he was very supportive, but made no offers to her. When she said, she was getting an abortion, he went right along with it.
Years later, when Hillary became pregnant, with Chelsea, she said he came and told her. He was very excited about the baby and she wondered why when she was pregnant, he had expressed none of the same joy. I think at that moment, she really began to see what was important to Bill, and it wasn't her.
When reading the book again, I really felt sympathy for her, but also that she was a damn fool to waste so much of her life on this selfish man.
Yes, she did need the money, but in the middle of this controversy, it made her look very bad to be posing in Penthouse and such things.
Oh dear, here I go again
