A new 30 foot tall steel border barriers built to Donald Trump's "new impenetrable design" that separate El Centro, east of San Diego, and the Baja California city of Mexicali collapsed and fell toward the Mexican side during a windy day with gusts up to 45 miles per hour.

Earlier this week the US Border Patrol discovered the longest and largest tunnel even found under the border, built 70 feet below the surface and 3/4 of a mile long, ending in a warehouse district in the San Diego suburb of Otay Mesa. A Border Patrol spokesman said there were indications the tunnel has been in use for the past two years.
