My husband's theory is the reports are coming out in a semi-gradual increase of number of cases but that the numbers are really much higher. They leak them out slowly so as not to set off a panic.

8236 and 171 deaths as of 9:00 pm Pacific time last night. 9776 and 213 deaths as of 9:00 am this morning Pacific time.

An increase of 1750 cases over a 12 hour period. Still no deaths reported outside China.
