OT -Just a rant that everyone should do what they want to do before it is too late. Jimmys passing, then my
dog gets diabetes and goes blind, and now my good mechanic friend, who was sort of like a dad to me, has
his second stroke since August.

While he was at the hospital, wearing a fall risk bracelet, the nurse decided to pull the curtain closed for
privacy while he took a whiz. Of course he fell, and has a huge black eye, and the rest of the left side of his
face is deep yellow.

Took his wife to visit yesterday, as he is in a rehab hospital now. Went along to his "physical therapy" session,
with six others in the same shape. It consisted of watching a movie on exercises they may be able to do
when/if they get home. Then they were asked some questions on the film. Getting answers was worse than
pulling teeth.

He seems coherent, but mostly lays in bed with his eyes closed, and comments on wanting to get out.

Don't know what he would do if he gets out, but be disappointed in all the things he can no longer do.

Time marches on. Don't let it march over you while you wait for tomorrow to do what you really want to do.
