It is noteworthy that most of the miss (but not all) was due to higher refinery turnaround activity, which depressed their refining earnings. The turnarounds are scheduled many months in advance, so it's odd for them to cause a surprise miss. Do you mean the turnaround took longer than expected due to finding problems, or something like that?
