Sold my entire position today at $12.

Although I believe these things, they alone don't matter:
  1. NNVC can get a good herpes drug past IND filing
  2. NNVC could quickly develop a new Coronavirus drug
How could I be wrong to sell now?: (these would make the stock rise, which would likely present a better exit).
  1. Somebody could believe Diwan and give them lots of money to develop a Coronavirus drug.
  2. Diwan could do an equity offering at a higher share price, allowing clinical testing of HerpeCide.
  3. These drugs could become so profitable that even the company makes enough money to sustain itself and build a business (although highly unlikely).
The stock price is fighting an uphill battle because:
  1. Management appears to be corrupt and double-dealing
  2. The royalty agreement appears to be egregiously unfair
  3. Management has not demonstrated sufficient business competence, only technical competence
