Hi George,
Annual General Meeting this coming Friday. It doesn't look like anything to extraordinary on the agenda. Some analysts are looking for the biotech sector to improve this year--hope they are right.
BTW, I see Tim Fussner is also doing work for Offshore Systems (OSI)- they are also trading at or near their 52 week low around 40 cents. He was hired by them in July (when the stock was at $1.15) to improve prospects with the investment community. He was hired to do the same for Helix when Helix was trading at much higher levels. I have never felt over excited with what I perceive to be his results so far. I do know the company speaks highly of his work and potential contacts.
Terry seems to be getting excited about the re-emergence of the DNA side of the business again. What they need is to get the DNA contract for Bill Clinton's sample reportedly left on Ms. Lewinski's clothing! <g> Seriously though, if an impartial lab is required what better place to go than to Canada's leading private DNA service. It sure would put Helix on the map.
RRK can't seem to cash in on any excitement generated by the current diamond fever. I have no hope for that one.
Let's hope for the best this year from Helix.
