You are right on track MAN!!! How does it feel to be part of a NEW PARADIGM?

The following is Cheeky Kid's personal opinion:

The media, brokerage houses better see the writing on the wall. If they don't keep up to this change they will be left pitifully behind and may never catch up. People that put down the NET and warn people of the evils of the Internet should buy a computer and use the STUFF before they open their mouths. Sure there are bad guys out there, but blaming the net for every spike in a stocks price just isn't fair.

Today, news is just a nanosecond away. Can you imagine waiting for your broker to call you with a news release, only to find he/she is out for lunch or took the rest of the afternoon off?

If I were a broker, I would be worried for my job!! I believe the time is quicky approaching when a brokers only function will be:

1. To advise the person who really isn't interested in investing.

2. To be an order taker.

With on-line trading such as GreenLine's WebBroker, you could trade, let say 900 shares of a stock trading at $15.00 and your cost for the trade would be about 30.00 bucks. A full service broker would cost you 400.00.(Approx 3%) Oh, but a full service broker can advise you...

It seems from reading recent newspaper articles (Mainly in the USA) that the INTELLIGENT reporters are reporting facts concerning the NET.

Hey guys, the Internet is still in it's infancy, and we are all a part of one of the most important things that has ever happened to man since the written word. Pretty BOLD statement, EH?
