LA is fine if one yearns for the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. If not, then you have to face the facts. It is a dirty city that is filled with the homeless and trashed out pot hole pitted streets along with rabid liberal politics. The traffic jams are truly epic. If takes forever (up to 45 minutes) to drive 2 miles at times. Expect to be taxed into oblivion in every way imaginable. The corrupt politicians take care of themselves, however. Get a load of this:

.At $184,610 per year, Los Angeles City Council members are drastically overpaid.
They earn more than the governor ($177,467), more than members of Congress ($174,000), more than members of the California Assembly and Senate ($97,197). They earn more (a lot more) than members of the nation’s other big city councils — including those in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.

And they earn much, much more than the average Angeleno. In fact, an L.A. City Council salary is nearly five times the median pay for a full-time job in Los Angeles. Five times! When you add in the free car, the pension and the campaign-funded meals and travel, a job on the council is extremely lucrative. latimes.com

LA county is one of the poorest places in the USA. LA county contains an immense amount of poverty. laalmanac.com

It is certainly no paradise or Garden of Eden. It is the exact opposite.

Contrast LA with the area north starting at Seacliff to Santa Barbara up to San Luis Obispo and beyond to the Monterrey Peninsula. Now that is extremely beautiful country with clean and healthy living areas available. . Or to the South around San Clemente down to San Diego.

LA was once a nice city. No more. The liberals destroyed it
