That's why it's easy to believe that, in this instance, God never told him how to vote. That's why I like the way 2 other Senators phrased it. "God told them to follow their heart and then also use their brains to guide them to a decision". (paraphrasing for Sens Tim Scott and Kennedy) Sen Collins did not agree with Romney and also said the the vote for witnesses many have been more difficult for her in some ways. Romney already made up his mind and didn't need no stinkin witnesses and actually pre-recorded his interviews with reporters. I wonder if God at least told him to do that.
