Wishing to procreate with 1 to N woman is according to normal natural law. In America there is civil law. Following natural law and not breaking civil law is normal.

There is not way to gauge the state except in cases where a lifestyle shows the level of acceptance the mental disorder. I call stage 10 full commitment with the desire to recruit all to their own stage 10.

There are also forms of extinction pestilence where material self perceived needs create a decision to not procreate. Those may also be a consideration as to fitness,

A person who has children as what I can fitness. A grand parent has a higher fitness. All manner of context sway the score. The biological facts may not be known.
