I’ve taken a cursory look out of boredom at epicure’s Views from the Left place to see how the left deals with Trump’s acquittal.

Nothing of substance. All simplistic Orange Man Bad stuff.

No recognition that Pelosi was Constitutionally obligated to put the inquiry to a House vote before starting it, thus rendering the bulk of the evidence against Trump illegally collected. Particularly as the ultimate resolution it passed did not ratify Schiff’s and Nadler’s work. A point the GOP should’ve litigated.

Or that Due Process requires an accused to confront witnesses against him, which Schiff routinely violated.

Or that the offenses were not crimes or crime-like as history and legal precedent require.

Or that Biden’s actions were worthy of investigative efforts.

Or that impeachment planning began before Trump was inaugurated.

Or that the IC’s efforts to torpedo Trump began months before the election even took place.

Or that Schiff deep-sixed the IC’s IG’s testimony.

Or that the Bolton bit was Kavanaugh-style theatrical manipulation.

Or that there was an implicit agreement between the media, the Dims and the IC to frame Trump.

I could go on with lots more examples.

None of them would matter to the lefties.

Orange Man Bad is a good synthesis of their arguments and their thinking.

That’s why they lost.

They’re dumb as hell.

These geniuses don’t realize that revenge is a hard dish, that Durham and Barr are going to dismantle the Obama-Clinton gang, that indictments are going to be handed out as their Convention takes place.

The GOP is finally on a war footing, recognizing that politics is a war in which no bullets or bombs are used, but just as ruthless.

Can’t wait. Timing is 75% of politics.
