Republicans still need to do a much better job of re-branding their efforts when addressing corrections to the systemic capture of children who are trapped and under-served in public schools, while subjected to the plantation mentality of the public schools... told there is no escape... Providing an escape isn't enough... There's also a social element of recognition necessary in the act of liberation... As in ancient Rome, today, there are still different means of becoming a slave... and different means of terminating slave status... Manumissio... But, for people to understand that... it has to be made the subject of deliberate communication... Part of it... is just giving people a grant in permission to not feel bad about doing what's best for them... or about recognizing who it is that's working in their best interest... and who isn't... Trump should be able to figure that out pretty easily... Many of the rest of the R's politicians are just as thoroughly captured in the slave mentality of the political system as the people who are "stuck" in the public schools...
