2/7/2020 Contest update

Despite Friday’s decline as coronavirus concerns returned, biotechs still finished the week with notable gains.
At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 4.45% YTD (vs. up 1.56% YTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index (NBI) was up 2.72% YTD (vs. down -3.79% YTD a week ago), the smaller-cap S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index (SPSIBI) was up 2.07% YTD (vs. down -4.59% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Composite Index (NCI), was up 5.54% YTD (vs. up 1.44% YTD a week ago).
JBOG’s portfolio, up 52.73% YTD, had a good week and remained Contest leader. FILO’s portfolio, up 46.73% YTD, held on to second place while BULBA’s portfolio, up 30.27% YTD, was propelled into third place by ADRO, the week’s top gaining portfolio pick.
At Friday's close, 31 of the 42 Contest portfolios were in the green, with 27 beating the NBI and the same 27 beating the SPSIBI.
The 197 Contest stock picks have an average YTD gain of 6.81% and a median YTD gain of .18%.
