He's an anti-American seeing what makes America worse. There was a PBS or Nova program on the need for bail reform, highlighting solutions offered by different people, and on the other side giving some data of how many people are incarcerated after not meeting a $500 amount. So this couple raised about $200 million to fund transitions back into society, and Sanders is just latching onto that idea, and making it a "campaign" issue. If he had a real idea or plan, it would have been brought up in the Senate, not during his nth campaign debate. About 3 months ago New York passed a bail reform law that says: The new law will allow most defendants charged with low-level or nonviolent crimes to be released after their arraignment without having to post bail. It's intended to prevent cases where defendants are kept in jail prior to trial, which can sometimes take months, or even years.
