Happy Birthday GPM'ers. Today - 150th Anniversary of Discovery of the Gold in them thar hills of Californiaaay!

goldrush1849.com

But it wasn't till May 12th of that year that the public at large found out, thru the news media and the frenzy started. The rush really started in 49' as people flocked to California.

Haven't us prospectors discovered the same thing with Friday's spike? and won't the public at large find out months later - say May or so (Suprisingly coincident with the 50th Birthday of Israel also - Haggai 2:8) and won't people flock to the motherlode in 99' as competing currency devaluation continues to reak havoc & the Y2K mess rears it's ugly head on 1/1/99.

Here is something else to chew on happening in May:

>>>The European Union is due to decide in May this year on the level of gold reserves to be held in the planned European Central Bank, ahead of the launch of the euro in January 1999.<<<
