[Pat - AEP & CheckFree]

Hi Pat, I haven't read the CheckFree thread but remembered you posting something on it and American Electric Power. I thought you might find it interesting that my electric bill had a news letter called Consumer Circuit. It stated that beginning in January you could visit AEP's or CheckFree's web site, fill out some personal & banking info & recieve your electric bill "E-Bill" via your home PC as long as you had IE or Netscape & Internet access. You can then authorize payment electronicly after getting your bill. AEP has been a customer @ work for many many years as I am a customer of theirs also. The local cable company has layed fiber in the back yard last week and will be offering 1.5 mbs internet service sometime in the not so distant future? Looks like $40 month per the web site. I also found out that GTE has had fiber layed (for years) from the local high school to the edge of the next small town but no build out into the neighborhoods yet. Im starting to get excited. Its been a long wait & the reality is almost here.

Have a safe trip,

Dug

P.S.

GO WSTL :}
