I was actually thinking how interesting it might be if Rocket Rick was going in there to do some DD for the ex. He'll have total access to any numbers he wants, and then a few midnight phonecalls to the boys in HP M&A gets the ink on the line.

Sounds more like a John Grisham novel than reality, but who knows.
